Psilocybe Cubensis - Original Sculpture Plaque

This is my largest and most detailed original mycological study plaque to date! This piece was on display in October at the Oregon Radical Mycology Convergence, and has been a part of my personal collection since then. I wasn't ready to part with it after it returned from the show, but I'm feeling like it's time to let this piece find a forever home. It's definitely going to be hard to part with this one. This fungi means so much to me.

These mushrooms are entirely hand sculpted with polymer clay and carefully shaded with loose pigments. I experimented with a new technique to include the fibrous appearance of mycelium around the base of the cluster, which is one of my favorite details! Several mossy patches adorn the edges of the wooden plaque.

Original signature and title on back. Brass finish chain for hanging. 

Dimensions - 9 x 6.5 inches. Hangs at approximately 13 inches from top to bottom.
