Parrot Waxcaps - Original Sculpture Plaque

ONE OF A KIND ORIGINAL

Hand sculpted Gliophorus psittacinus made from polymer clay with additional multimedia details - Chalk pastel pigments to shade the semi-translucent clay base, a painted coat and dynamic droplets of resin on the mushroom caps, multimedia materials on the stem base (paper, modeling paste, natural fibers, acrylic paint) crafted to mimic dirt and ground debris.

This piece features a mature and young Gliophorus mounted on a stained wood plaque. Faux mossy patches surround the fungi pair and agate stone beads adorn the hanging chain.

Signature on back and handmade identification plaque on front.
