Rhodotus palmatus - Miniature Sculpture Dome

One of a Kind Original

This sculpture dome features two Wrinkled Peach fungi in different stages of maturity, all entirely hand sculpted from polymer clay. Chalk pastel pigments were carefully brushed into the raw clay for coloration and acrylic paint details were added after baking. Resin droplets with a glossy alcohol ink glaze were applied to the stem to create the look of the mushroom's natural secretions.

The chunks of bark and debris were created by hand with recycled paper, modeling fibers, acrylic paint, styrofoam, and more.

A small wood identification plaque, laser cut and hand drawn, is affixed to the front of the glass cover.

My logo is laser engraved underneath the cork base, it is signed and dated, and the piece comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
